Spurs 2324 Game Day Posters

For the 2324 season, our team was given the challenge to create a different and unique game day poster for every game in the season. This was quite a challenge, but the project got some great results. Across all social media channels, the posters received 17x more engagements than last season with almost a million engagements! The also received 3.6x more impressions than last season with 30.4M total impressions!

These are fun excuses for our team to experiment with different styles and treatments. Here are my contributions to the creative team’s efforts. I concepted and executed all of these. Some of the posters I created were also some of the top performing pieces in this series.

It’s really interesting to see them all together and compare the different art styles and designs I experimented with this season.

This one if my favorite. I experimented with 3D models for this one. The concept is based on the idea of “We the Melted” as a taunt to the Raptor’s “We the North”.

This is another favorite. I based the design for this one off a shirt I had created as a give away for Veteran’s Night.

The shirt got scrapped, but at least I got to use the artwork for something!

This one, unfortunately, didn’t get posted due to an error. But I still really dig how it turned out.

This one was a ton of fun. I finally sold the idea of using a player in a poster to the creative director, and ended up with this kinda horrifying but pretty badass poster. Definitely one of my favorites.

Another favorite! This one was for one of the Moody Center games, and it actually got made into a poster/fanbango, which was really cool.

Final poster of the 23-24 season!

This one almost didn’t happen. I pitched the idea to do an illustrated poster with all of the current roster players, and this idea had to go through so many channels. There was drama, and late nights, but it all came together in the end.

Definitely not my favorite poster, but a nice close to the season. Also kind of fitting that my first poster was illustrated and my last one was as well.

Thanks for Looking!
